About Fetching Market
Fetching Market was developed and created from a lifelong passion for attending flea markets, treasure hunting at vintage shoppes and collecting quality goods. I owned a lovely shop for 7 years and realized my passion was not only selling goods, but also hosting events at the shop. I wanted to reach a larger audience and artists so I closed my shop in 2013 and began my new adventure.
We strongly believe in supporting small business - brick & mortar shops as well as the cottage industry. Our vendors are strong artistically and technically gifted; they love to fetch and create the best, most unique vintage finds and then display them with an artistic flare.
Our markets offer barn finds, silver, ironstone, vintage glassware, collectibles, vintage jewelry, vintage clothing, boutique clothing, chippy rusty stuff, barn wood, garden items, beautifully handcrafted jewelry, soaps, lotions, potions, candles, woolens, project finds, pieces of stuff, estate sale finds, vintage signs, retro, mid-century, old tables, old chairs, old doors, old windows, old shutters - painted, stripped, recovered, repurposed.
Outstanding Vendors - Joining us from across the United States. Local artisans, nationwide artisans, skilled craftsmanship, talent, and gourmet delicacies.
Quality Food & Cocktails - Local fare and delish beverages.
Live Music - Local Bands & Solo Artists
Our Staff - Dedicated to make each event an outstanding experience with quality care for guests and vendors
Locations - Fetching Market pops up in various locations. We are invited by Towns and Villages located in NWI as well as The Chicago Southland to host a market in their community. We have an outstanding following plus we draw a new audience each market from each community we are in. This is a great niche to fulfill as it allows us to share out vendors to a new and larger clientele each market. The community also benefits as we bring folks in from across the Region, Chicagoland as well as Southern and Northern areas that may have never visited before.
