Fetching Market was developed and created from a lifelong passion for attending flea markets, treasure hunting at vintage shops, and collecting quality goods. I’ve hosted shows, markets, and events since 1993.
I owned a lovely home accent shop where we curated over 40 local artisans in the mix for 7 years. At that time, I realized my passion was not only selling goods but also getting back to hosting events so we did so at the shop. I wanted to reach more artisans as well as a larger audience so I closed my shop in 2013 and began my new adventure. In September 2014 we hosted our first Signature Market at the Historic Ford Hangar.
Fetching Market is Quality Vintage & Handmade Artisan Wares - Our artisans come from across the country and offer one-of-a-kind, small-batch, barn finds, vintage items, boutique clothing, chippy rusty stuff, garden items & fresh flowers, beautifully handcrafted jewelry, soaps, lotions, potions, candles, woolens, retro, mid-century, vintage furniture - painted, stripped, recovered, repurposed and more!
I strongly believe in supporting small businesses - brick & mortar shops as well as the cottage industry. Our vendors are strong artistically and technically gifted; they love to fetch and create the best, most unique vintage finds and then display them with an artistic flair.
In 2015, I created Found & Shared when we saw a need for community. We began hosting workshops for women looking to start a business or improve the business they already have.
In 2021, I collaborated with local Chef, The Gourmet Goddess, to host a unique dining experience in the Northwest Indiana area and continue to do so through the current year.
So as you can see, I am always evolving my heart’s desire. When you have a passion to create a memorable experience, the possibilities are endless.

Venues - Fetching Market pops up in historic locations because we love the atmosphere. We are invited by Towns and Villages located in NWI as well as The Chicago Southland to host a market in their community. Fetching Market has an outstanding following plus we draw a new audience for each market from each community we are in. This is a great niche to fulfill as it allows us to showcase our artisans and vintage purveyors to a new and larger clientele. The community also benefits as we bring folks in from across the Region, Chicagoland as well as Southern and Northern areas that may have never visited before.
